  Wish we could give negative stars. We'll never go back...read to the end for "why." First, this store has some of most exquisitely designed kitchen accessories and products I've ever seen. My boyfriend and I bought a few beautifully designed, and pricey objects, the last time we were there. We PURPOSELY visited Venice FL again, precisely to go back and look at a few more items we were interested in. Not unlike last time, the staff hovers and interjects comments any time you show interest in an object. While, sometimes that's helpful (had a wonderful salesperson last time explain info on the salt grinders), it became annoying when we couldn't even have a discussion between us without interruption. But what really incensed me is when I picked up a napkin ring to see what the actual ring was made of, and was told "Please don't touch" There were no signs stating such. And if you have a store focused on design, of course, people are going to want to touch and feel the products. So I said "so are these napkins rings that delicate that they can't be used then?" And she replied "I'd rather you look with your eyes, not your hands" I'm 60 years old, have fine things in my home, have a Ph.D, and my boyfriend and I could have bought out the store. In addition, I've taught customer service courses all over the country in Fortune 500's so I know good service, and bad. So..we left...leaving behind some things we had wanted....and we will NOT be back. I will share this same review with the owner. They need to learn to be helpful, not pushy. And pleasant, not rude. I don't think they're capable. What a shame. It's such a great store...with rude salespeople. We were not surprised, then, to see so many other negative reviews on Google and 1 on Yelp!
